Biodiversity measurement served as baseline data for the development of effective conservation plans. The accuracy was highly dependent on size sample plot. Even though Indonesia had various ecosystems, standard plot measuring plant species diversity only available lowland, lower montane, and mangrove forests. Therefore, this study aimed to determine optimal dimension plots in coastal forest ecosystems. collected Ujung Kulon National Park using dimensions ranging from 2 m × 150 50 m. Furthermore, rarefaction method species-area curve were used examine data. curves showed that seedling, sampling, pole levels 110 tree stages.
